Rangitoto College is looking for an experienced teacher of Junior Science who possesses excellent organisational skills.  We are a high-performing school that aims to give every student the opportunity to excel. Rangitoto College is in search of a dedicated, experienced teacher of Junior Science to join our well resourced and have a positive department that achieves excellent academic results from great students. We are looking for an educator who is committed to upholding the highest standards of teaching and learning. 

The position is full time, fixed term for one teaching year, commencing 28 January 2026. This is an opportunity to join a high performing academic school.

The successful applicant will also:

•   Have a teaching diploma and be a registered NZ teacher.
•   Have experience with/ or knowledge of the NCEA and the qualifications framework.
•   Be legally allowed to work in New Zealand.
•   Have a collaborative and constructive work style.

Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (CA) https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/. As assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate of $61,329 and top rate of $103,086. Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.
