Curriculum Leader History (2MU) - commencing T1 2026


Rangitoto College is looking for a teacher of Social Science with specialist skills in History to lead this area of our Curriculum. We are an energetic, well-resourced, and collegial Social Science department, with a very successful NCEA Scholarship programme. We welcome applications from enthusiastic and motivated teachers who will thrive in a busy and dynamic environment. The position commences in Term 1, 2026. Applicants should state all of their subject specialties.

Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (CA) https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/. As assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate of $61,329.00 and top rate of $103,086.00. Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.
