Withdrawal Room Assistant
Are you looking for a meaningful, part-time role where your calm presence and affinity for young people can truly shine? Rangiora High School is seeking a supportive and approachable Withdrawal Room Assistant to manage a safe, quiet environment for students needing 'time out'.

Tenure: Part-time (12 hours/week), term time only. Fixed-term until 11 December 2026.
What you'll do:
- Support & Guide Actively supervise the withdrawal room, offering direct support to students
- De-escalate & Connect: Keep a watchful eye out for escalating behaviours, using smart strategies to defuse tension and support student wellbeing.
Champion Inclusion: Work alongside teachers, deliver learning topics to small groups, and proudly support the use of Te Reo and Te Ao Māori in our school community
