Administrator - HR and Enrolments


Rangitoto College are seeking a capable Administrator to support the HR team with HR functions, enrolment administration, and staff support initiatives. You’ll be an essential part of ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming, school environment. All applicants must be an NZ resident or hold an appropriate visa and be currently residing in NZ. 

Key Responsibilities

This position is a supporting administrative position which will teach the entry level skills of HR and Enrolments in a busy school environment.

Our ideal candidate will already enjoy working in a team environment who have commented on their accuracy and ability to connect with people.

Human Resources Support

  • Assist in the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising, applicant communications, and documentation preparation.
  • Collation of employment-related documents such as offer letters, agreements and job descriptions
  • Maintain compliance registers for visas, police vetting, and employment agreements.
  • Assist in ensuring up to date information for all non-teaching staff meet legal employment standards (e.g., work visas, current police vetting).

Enrolments 

  • Process and verify online enrolments via FACTS and ensure data accuracy.
  • Provide enrolment support at key events including enrolment evenings and open days.
  • Coordinate feeder school visits and maintain up-to-date student files.
  • Uphold confidentiality, especially when working with sensitive family information.

Staff Wellbeing & Leave Cover

  • Support wellbeing initiatives, events, and participation across staff.
  • Assist with resource preparation and event logistics in collaboration with the wellbeing committee.
  • Provide administrative cover for other team members when required.
