Arts Coordinator
Wellington Girls’ College has a position available for an energetic and organised Arts Coordinator, who is enthusiastic about the enhancement of Arts and Culture within the College.
While this is a 15 hour a week term time only position during school hours, there would occasionally need to be some hours worked after school supporting events.
The Arts Coordinator reports to the Deputy Principal and supports the school staff with:
- Arts and cultural events and groups
- Advising the school community of upcoming events and opportunities
- Maintaining the Arts database and records
- Assist with funding applications
We require someone who;
- Has good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Enjoys working with young people
- Has an open and approachable manner
- Has a commitment to supporting the College and wider community
- Has a high degree of interpersonal skills
- Has initiative
- Has a high standard of computer skills, desk-top publishing applications and database management is required and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel is desirable.
The remuneration will be according to the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement, (Grade 4 $32-$35)
