Rangitoto College is seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative, and organised educator to take on the position of Assistant International Baccalaureate (IB) Coordinator.
Working closely alongside the IB Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating, developing, and embedding the IB Diploma Programme across the school. Key responsibilities include supporting student admissions, guiding curriculum development within departments, assisting CORE programme coordinators, and providing targeted professional development to build staff capacity.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of evidence-based classroom practice within the IB framework, sound organisational skills, and a solutions-driven approach. You will foster strong, positive relationships across our school community and actively promote a culture of whanaungatanga among students, staff, and families. Prior experience with the IB Diploma Programme, either as a coordinator, examiner, or teacher, is highly desirable.

Requirements:
- NZ Registered Teacher (or eligible for registration)
- Strong knowledge of IB Diploma Programme administration, compliance, and pedagogy
- Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and time-management skills
Position commences Term 1, 2027.
