Billingual Support Worker

Wakatipu High School is seeking a caring, outgoing individual to support our Portuguese-speaking students. This role involves assisting students with their English in some class settings along with supporting the pastoral team with enrolment and pastoral care.

The successful candidate will be fluent in both Portuguese and English and be able to build positive, professional learning relationships with students, staff, and families.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position, offering 10 hours per week during term time, from May 5th, 2025, to December 10th, 2025. The specific schedule can be discussed with the successful candidate.

Applicants must hold valid working rights in New Zealand. The pay rate will be as per the Support Staff in Schools' Collective Agreement Teacher Aide Pay Scale at Grade B-C, Step 2, $27.34 per hour.
