We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of Commerce to join our Social Science Learning Area.
We invite applications for a dynamic and student-centred teacher of Economics and/or Business and/or Accounting who is passionate about delivering high-quality education and nurturing a love for the application of Commerce-related principles in our students.
As a valued member of our dedicated Social Science Learning Area, you will contribute to an innovative and collaborative educational environment, where professional growth and development is supported by all. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in teaching at least one of Economics, Business or Accounting up to NCEA Level 3 and potentially scholarship.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement (STCA). The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $65,685 to $105,686, depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience. An individual’s actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
We would anticipate the hours of work to be approximately 40 per week.
