Deputy Principal

A senior member of our high performing Senior Leadership Team has indicated they will be leaving at the end of this year and we are seeking an outstanding senior leader to join our team now to support a smooth transition. The ideal applicant will be an experienced and effective school-wide leader with particular strength in school-wide curriculum and school-wide student achievement, ensuring the school continues to deliver on its vision of Aotearoa New Zealand’s best all-round education. They will embrace and be motivated by  a culture that values ‘people and performance’ and demonstrates an unrelenting commitment to staff, students, including student achievement and the community.

This position attracts 8 Management Units and 1 Senior Management allowance.

Wakatipu High School is a well-resourced school, with a rapidly growing roll of more than 1450 students, located on a world class campus in Queenstown, in the stunning Wakatipu Basin. 

Start date: Ideally by 14 July, 2025 but no later than 19 January, 2026.
