Digital Technology Teacher (full time permanent 2025)
Long Bay College is a co-educational secondary school
located in a peaceful location near Long Bay Beach and the new Long Bay
Village. The school opened in 1975 and has approximately 1800 students with 150
teaching and support staff combined.
An exciting opening is available for an outstanding teacher
of Digital Technology who can teach up to Level 3. You will be teaching in a
well-resourced, progressive, and innovative faculty, with a proven track record
for outstanding results and scholarships.
This is an opportunity to bring your passion for Digital Technology and to shape the future direction of the subject. Knowledge of Python, Java, HTML and CSS programming, UX, Project Management and visual software, Adobe Photoshop / Animate and Blender are essential.
We seek a
dynamic teacher who is passionate about technology, who is willing to embrace
our digital campus, and who enjoys and celebrates high academic and
co-curricular achievement; Robotics
being an area that can be grown and developed for our students. Experience and
enthusiasm around curriculum development are essential, in this vibrant and
inspiring curriculum area.

This is a permanent full-time position to start in Term 1, 2025.
The terms and conditions, including base salary and hours of work, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086 (rates effective 2December 2024), depending on applicant's qualifications and experience. An individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.

New graduate teachers may be eligible for a pre-tax payment of $10,500 through the Voluntary Bonding Scheme, subject to conditions.
