Rangitoto College invites applications for a permanent position in the English Department, commencing Term 3 2025.
We seek an innovative and enthusiastic teacher who has a deep interest in English as a subject, as well as in pedagogy. The department is collegial, organised and well-resourced, and is part of an exciting, high-performing school that aims to give every student the opportunity to excel.
The College offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma. There is the potential for the right candidate to teach in an additional subject area.

Teachers at the college are expected to contribute to the extensive co-curricular life of the school.
Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (CA) https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/. As assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate of $61,329.00 and top rate of $103,086.00. Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.
