ESOL Teacher - commencing T3

We invite applications for a permanent Secondary teaching position in the ESOL Department, commencing Term 3 2025.

We seek an innovative and enthusiastic teacher who has a deep interest in ESOL as a subject, as well as in pedagogy. The department is collegial, organised and well-resourced, and is part of an exciting, high-performing school that aims to give every student the opportunity to excel.

Teachers at the college are expected to contribute to the extensive co-curricular life of the school.

Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (CA) https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/. As assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate of $61,329.00 and top rate of $103,086.00. Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.
