Food Technology Teacher (LTR Maternity Cover)
Long Bay College is a
co-educational secondary school located in a peaceful location near Long Bay
Beach and the new Long Bay Village. The school opened in 1975 and has over 2000
students with 170 teaching and support staff combined.
An exciting opportunity is
available for an outstanding teacher of Food Technology who can teach up to
NCEA Level 3 in a well-resourced, progressive, and innovative faculty, with a
proven track record for outstanding results and scholarships.
The person will ideally have
skills in teaching a range of Technology subjects, with a focus on Food
Technology up to and including NCEA Level 3. Our Food technology courses are
achievement standard based, utilising the Materials and Processing Technology standards.

This is a Long-term relief position to commence
start of term 2, 2026 until the end of term 3, 2026.
The terms and conditions,
including base salary and hours of work, for this position is set by the
Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and
registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on
applicant's qualifications and experience. An individuals actual base salary
will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
