Head of Learning Area Technology

Wakatipu High School’s vision is to deliver Aotearoa New Zealand’s best all-round education. We are looking for a great leader and educator to join our collaborative and forward-thinking learning area. The successful applicant will be excited by the opportunity to lead and deliver a future-focused and holistic education in a flexible learning environment – they will be pedagogically progressive, have a growth mindset, form effective professional relationships, and be keen to contribute to the all-round education of our students. 

The ability to teach a technology subject  to NCEA Level 3 and Scholarship is preferred. Please state other specialist subjects as we would consider strong leaders from other subject areas.

We value our Heads of Learning Area and support them to be great leaders through the resourcing of professional development and provision of non-contact time well above what is required in the STCA. 

Wakatipu High School is a well-resourced, co-educational school with a growing roll of more than 1500 students, situated in Queenstown in the stunning Wakatipu Basin.
