Health and PE teacher (Outdoor Education focus) - T1 2026 or by negotiation
Rangitoto College is looking for a teacher of Health and Physical Education to join our energetic, well-resourced, and collegial Health & PE Department. This is a full-time permanent position commencing Term 1 2026 or by negotiation. We welcome applications from enthusiastic and motivated teachers who will thrive in a busy and dynamic environment. We are particularly interested in teachers with Outdoor Education experience to support our OE programme.
In addition to experienced teachers, we welcome applications from beginning or early-career teachers, who can take advantage of our highly regarded PCT programme.

Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' collective agreement (STCA) https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/ as assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting $61,329.00 and top rate of $103,086.00. Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.
