Description of Vacancy:

Health & Physical Education Teacher, Permanent, full-time. 

This position is to commence at the start of Term 3, Monday, 14 July 2025.

We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, and enthusiastic teacher to join our Health & Physical Education Learning Area. We value relational and evidence-based teaching practice that puts student agency, integrity, and mana enhancement at the forefront of all departmental practices.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement (STCA). The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $64,083 to $103,086 depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.  An individual’s actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.

We would anticipate the hours of work to be approximately 40 per week.
