Pinehurst, a
Year 1-13 private school in Auckland of 1100 students, is looking for a Hockey Coach for our Year 7-8 Teams starting beginning Term 2, 2025.
The
sports programme at Pinehurst School is a central part of school life.
Characterised by positive attitudes in all aspects of sport and all students
are encouraged to be involved. Fair play and sportsmanship are regarded as
paramount.
Coaching is a fantastic way to
contribute to the community. It is about growing people as well as players.
We are looking for experienced
hockey coaches for our Year 7-8 teams, including Monday night games and trainings on Friday mornings.
We are looking for coaches who are
passionate about developing performance of both players and team. Have excellent
interpersonal, communication and leadership skills as well as being good at
building relationships. Sound knowledge of hockey, age-appropriate game plans,
technical skills and strategies is a must.
