Kristin School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school on Auckland’s North Shore. A rare opportunity has become available to be part of a tight-knit Information and Communications Technology (ICT) team, providing level 1 helpdesk support to staff and students. Mainly based at the service desk in the School Library, this role provides face-to-face support for students and teachers, along with assessing and allocating ticket submissions as needed. The role supports new students and families with device registrations along with setting up devices for new staff. The school operates with both Windows and Apple operating systems and uses Canvas as its Learning Management System (LMS). This role will support teachers with the maintenance of the LMS, including uploading courses and resources and providing training to new staff. Providing backup cover to other members of the ICT team is an essential part of the role.
Reporting to the Head of ICT; the hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.00pm.

We are looking for a team player who:
- Is customer focussed and willing to go the extra mile
- Has IT help desk or customer service experience
- Knows both Apple and Windows operating systems
- Knowledgeable with IOS, OS, X and Windows platforms
- Is patient and empathetic when dealing with students aged 5 to 18 years
- Has knowledge of ticketing systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Has basic knowledge of networking, printers and Google suite
- Is patient and empathetic when dealing with students aged 5 to 18 years.
