Learning Area Leader - Te Reo Māori


Kei te kimihia e mātau tētahi Kaihautū mō Te Tari Māori (3 MU Pūmau).  Ka kōkirihia e te kaitono momoho tētahi Tari e whakapūawai haere ana, ā, e mahi tahi ana hoki i te taha o te kapa Kaihautū ā-Kaupapa Ako.  Kei te akohia katoatia Te Reo Māori e te reanga tuaiwa, ā, he whiringa tēnei kaupapa ako mō ngā taumata ake.  Mena he kaiako tautōhito tōu, haere mai ki te whakatuarā i Te Reo Māori me ngā Tikanga Māori puta noa i Te Kāreti Tamatāne o Te Whanganui-a-Tara.

We are looking for a Learning Area Leader for Te Reo Māori (3PMU & 1MMA).  The successful applicant will lead a growing and thriving Department and will also be involved in school-wide curriculum leadership alongside other Learning Area Leaders. 

At Wellington College, all of our Year 9 students study Te Reo Māori.  Students then have the choice of studying Te Reo Māori in Years 10-13.  We are looking for an experienced educator to lead our Te Reo teaching team and be involved in the promotion of Te Reo Māori and Tikanga Māori across the school.
