This position is to commence on Monday, 25 May 2026.

We seek an innovative and enthusiastic teacher to join our Science Learning Area.  We invite applications for a dynamic and student-centred teacher of Science who is passionate about delivering high quality education and nurturing a love for the application of Science principles in our students.

 As a valued member of our dedicated Science Learning Area, you will contribute to an innovative, and collaborative educational environment, where professional growth and development are supported by all.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in teaching Science based curriculum areas, preferably up to NCEA Level 3.

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement (STCA). The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $65,685 to $105,686 depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.  An individual’s actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.

We would anticipate the hours of work to be approximately 40 per week.
