Social Science Teacher (Classical Studies) - T3 2025 start


Rangitoto College is looking for a teacher of Classical Studies to join our energetic, well-resourced, and collegial Social Science department. We welcome applications from enthusiastic and motivated teachers who will thrive in a busy and dynamic environment. The position commences Term 3, 2025.

 

In addition to experienced teachers, we welcome applications from beginning or early-career teachers, who can take advantage of our outstanding PCT programme. 

 

Applicants should state all of their senior subject specialties. An ability to teach across two or more specialties would be advantageous.

Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (STCA) https://www.education.govt.nz/school/people-and-employment/employment-agreements/collective-agreements/secondary-teachers-collective-agreement. As assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education. Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications, starting rate of $61,329.00 and top rate of $103,086.00. Hours of work will be as set out in the STCA.
