Staff Interpreters (NZSL/English)
Join our team of amazing interpreters and work with dedicated staff passionate about providing the best education pathways for Deaf and Hard of Hearing ākonga. Our highly skilled in-house team provides interpretation services for staff across Aotearoa New Zealand to help them succeed in their roles.
ABOUT YOU / MŌ KOE
You are an experienced qualified NZSL Interpreter or are a recent graduate interested in joining a team to learn and grow in. You are keen to be part of a vibrant, professional and fun team who offer a high level of collegial support to one another. You are a people person who appreciates and values diverse perspectives while maintaining your own professional standards.
THE ROLE / TE MAHI
We are looking for full-time or part-time Staff Interpreters to join our team in Auckland. These roles report to our Interpreter Lead within the wider Communications and Resources Team. Although we are a school, this role is not student centric and doesn’t include any specialist educational interpreter responsibilities.
Staff Interpreters work flexibly in both face to face and zoom settings, in a stimulating variety of contexts. The role also requires some video editing from time to time which we are happy to provide training for if this is outside your current skillset.
