Teacher Aide

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher Aide to join our team for a permanent, part-time position. This role focuses on providing essential support to students in Years 9–12 in supported learning classes who have literacy, numeracy, and behavioral needs. 

The position is for a minimum of 22.5 hours per week during term time only, though hours may vary depending on the needs of each academic year. 

For the remainder of 2025, the hours of work will be 25.5 hours per week worked during school hours (specific times to be negotiated).

Applicants are required to show a good level of literacy as they will also be required to act as reader/writers when necessary.  Experience in working with teenagers would also be an advantage.  Training for this position will be provided. 

This position begins on Friday, September 12, 2025. Remuneration is based on relevant qualifications and experience, and falls within Grade B (up to step 5) of the Teacher Aide pay scale as outlined in the Support Staff Collective Agreement.
