Long Bay College is a co-educational secondary school located in a peaceful location near Long Bay Beach and the new Long Bay Village. The school opened in 1975 and has approximately 2000 students with 170 teaching and support staff combined.

Long Bay College is seeking a dynamic teacher to deliver engaging Science and Mathematics programmes. You will bring strong subject knowledge, clarity of instruction, and a commitment to lifting outcomes for all learners. The ability to teach additional subjects is an advantage.

This is a fixed‑term position due to roll growth. You will teach junior courses, with opportunities for senior NCEA classes based on experience. We welcome applications from both beginning and experienced teachers who value teamwork, consistent routines, and ongoing professional learning.

The terms and conditions, including base salary and hours of work, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on applicant's qualifications and experience. An individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
