Technology Technician

We require a part-time technician to support our teaching team in the Technology Department at Christchurch Boys’ High School.

This position is for 14 hours per week and would ideally suit a retired tradesperson. Hours of work may be negotiated to suit the applicant.

Responsibilities would include:

• Maintenance of department tools, equipment and fixtures.
• Performing and recording of regular Health and Safety checks & settings.
• Purchasing of consumables as directed by teaching staff.
• Preparation of materials as directed by teaching staff.
• Minor “one-off” jobs and alterations (storage, etc).

The applicant will be required to be Police vetted to work with children. Some basic computer literacy would be beneficial.
