Teacher of Physical Education and Outdoor Education
Wakatipu High School’s vision is to deliver Aotearoa New Zealand’s best all-round education. We are looking for a great Physical Education and Outdoor Education teacher who is able to teach senior outdoor education. The ideal candidate will be formally qualified in a variety of mediums (such as alpine, bush, rock and kayak) and be an effective leader of organisational outdoor safety systems.
The successful applicant will be excited by the opportunity to deliver a future-focused and holistic education in a flexible learning environment - they will be pedagogically progressive, student-centred, have a growth mindset, form effective relationships, and be ready to contribute to the all-round education of our students.
The ability to teach both senior Outdoor Education and Physical Education is required, including to the senior school. Please state any other specialist subjects.
Wakatipu High School is a well-resourced, co-educational school with a growing roll of more than 1600 students, situated in Queenstown in the stunning Wakatipu Basin.
